Step-by-Step Application
  1. Dry and Style First: Always apply this product to hair that is 100% dry and already styled.
  2. Prep the Brush: The compact comes with a dual-ended brush. Load up the smaller, dense end of the brush with the powder.
  3. Pull Taut: Use your free hand to pull your hair flat and taut against your scalp at the root area.
  4. Press, Don't Sweep: Start right at the scalp and press the brush firmly down into the roots, working your way outward. Avoid using a sweeping or brushing motion, as pressing ensures the minerals lock onto the hair fibers.


  1. Detail Highlights or Hairlines: If you are trying to stretch out highlights, use the thin side edge of the small brush to draw precise lines. To fill in thinning areas or a receding hairline, you can switch to the larger, wider end of the brush to dust powder over the scalp.
  2. Let it Set: Allow the powder to set for one minute. Afterward, you can brush your hair normally.
